Extremely fascinating article thanks for posting Flyaway. First time I have ever heard of that satellite.

What makes it scary is that it is nuclear powered.

I do wonder how effective it would be from orbit if it was attacking ground targets rather than other space vehicles.

Looks a lot less odd when you render it as Equipage.

If they're talking about an 800km orbit, then 1MW isn't a huge power level, that's like trying to jam something in Berlin from the Russian border.
