Hi,

The CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency, Dr. Muhammad Al-Qousi, said
that Egypt is the first country in Africa and the Middle East to have a
"camera" space payload to be installed on the International Space
Station. This confirms the scientific and practical ability of Egyptian
scientists and researchers in the space field.
Al-Qousi confirmed to the Middle East News Agency after President
Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's meeting with him and the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Amr Talaat - that Egypt is taking unprecedented steps in the field of space technology, with strong
support from President El-Sisi. Believing in the importance of space
science in achieving the sustainable development of the Egyptian state.
