" As a result of the victory of the countries of the anti-Hitler coalition, files belonging to the German Reich were taken to various countries, including Russia, during and after the Second World War. The most extensive collections of these so-called trophy documents are held in various federal archives of the Russian Federation: the State Archive of the Russian Federation (GARF), the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History (RGASPI), the State Military Archive of the Russian Federation (RGVA), and the Central Archive of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (CAMO). Since 2011, a joint German-Russian scientific project has been underway to digitize the German documents stored in Russia. From 2014 to early 2022, approximately 28,000 so-called trophy files were digitized at CAMO. "(https://germandocsinrussia.org/de/n...nte-in-den-archiven-der-russischen-f-deration).
