I lokk for info about David Rose RP-4, but found nothing interesting.

About David L. Rose:

There are two types of people in the world: participants and spectators. David Rose is certainly in the former category, with more than 30 years of aviation achievements. His latest mission is to step into an unlimited of his own design and compete with Skip Holm and John Penney.
David is no neophyte to flying and racing, with more than 2,500 flight hours in his logbook. He first honed his skills in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam, flying B-52s and the stubby winged F-104 Star Fighter. After the military, he joined American Airlines as an ATP, flying 757s, 767s and MD-11s. David is also an avid air racer—he’s won four Reno Gold championships.

David Rose's aircraft are very little-known and documented online. I only know of three David Rose designs:
  • The Renegade, a high-performance aircraft with pusher propeller
  • The RP-4, a high-performance aircraft with two 2500hp supercharged V8 engines and contra-rotating NASA prop blades, built to be the fastest prop plane ever.
  • The RP-5 Peregrine [N13NG], a 1998 biplane with a 150hp Lycoming O-320 reciprocating engine; it won the biplane class in 2003 but was lost in a crash in 2007, killing its pilot. Another example has been registered as a Peregrine 4 [N111AY].

Any addition to this list and very sparse info would be most welcome!

NOTE: the Mach Buster [N104MB] is sometimes presented as a Rose type; however it was NOT his design, he only purchased it.
