RIP Darth Farmer. The name Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford gave David Prowse due to his Bristolian accent.
On the news the other nights were the clip from Star Wars were Darth Vader boards the blockade runner. It hadn't been dubbed with James Earl Jones voice, it did ruin the drama of the scene and was funny. It reminded me of the Wurzels "I've got a brand new combine harvester".
I remember reading that he was very upset that when Darth Vader was unmasked in Jedi, he was quite upset that they used another actor.
