Interesting. I've always believed Weasels were larger than that. Is it fully grown? I've always imagined them from book descriptions to be about the size of small cats.

The subspecies are variant in size.
Here in Germany the smaller it's around 8 inch for least weasel, up to 25 inch for biggest.

The American long-tailed weasel is a much bigger animal (body length up to 35 cm) than the least weasel (15 - 18 cm for females) shown in Grey Havoc's clips.
Other weasel species fall within these extremes.
As small as Ozzy is, he/she looks like an adult. I have seen weasels this small, even if only fleetingly. They're extremely quick.
@GH: thanks for posting, this brightened up my day.

I love little animals who show a surfeit of fearlessness and ferocity. I have a mini-dachshund who has tried to take on pitbulls all in my defense. Without leashes he wouldn't last long, obviously, but he is fearless.
