Curtiss O-52 tow target gear

When production of the O-52's ended and all had entered service, it was belatedly realized that - along amongst the between-the-wars Observation series - the specification for the O-52 had not included provisions for tow target gear. This was rectified by a Wright Field-approved modification in late 1941 or early 1942 and at least three two target squadrons employed O-562s in this dangerous endeavor. Has anyone seen details, drawings or photos of the actual installation? It is purported to have engaged the ventral camera doors.
