Archipeppe,

Wonderful series on B-58. Really enjoy your work.

One of my friends from Boeing used to work at Edwards AFB.

He said he'd be working out by the runway when a B-58 would taxi to the threshold. The bomber would hold brakes as he ran up the engines, and the nose gear would slowly rise off the ground. The pilot would hold that attitude all the way down the runway for takeoff. What a marvelous aircraft. Thanks Archipeppe.
