As I know,www.astronautix.com has many mistakes.
This series of artillery is a product of China's anti-ballistic missile system in the 1960s and does not take ground attack into account
“21 m long”,“ 85 mm shells ”,"Payload: 40 kg"It's not the same gun
First of all, in 1965, the Chinese built an 85mm smoothbore gun, which could accelerate a 4kg payload to 1,200 m/s
Then, from 1966 to 1968, the Chinese built a 140mm smoothbore gun that could accelerate an 18kg payload to 1,600 m/s
There are plans for a 320mm smoothbore gun and a 420mm recoil gun in the future, but it is unknown whether the guns have actually been built
Experiments show that using artillery to the efficiency of the anti-ballistic missile (abm) is too low, so the project ended
