here is the Cessna early projects,the Project 370 was a Family-Car or light transport
aircraft,Model CTP-1 was a pilotless torpedo plane,Four-Engined T-50 was low-wing
four engined light transport aircraft,T-55 was two place version of T-50 and T-70 was
two seat navigator trainer low-wing cabin monoplane.

These images are taken from a 1940 company brochure. Two things strike me here:

1. The designation T50 was not hyphenated, originally (this is also true of P1, P3 and others at the same time)
2. The aircraft was given Twin as its official name (capitalized and affixed to the designation everywhere)
