Well, clearly that must be followed with this:

...Edit...what the hell, the link to Monster Magnet's The Right Stuff video went and disappeared.

Believe me, there are many MUCH stranger albums (i.e., the first eight or so albums by The Residents). ;)

Then again, Captain Lockheed and The Starfighters is great fun. Bob Calvert was a real character.....and a bit
difficult to deal with at times (see the Hawkwind biographies by Ian Abrahams and Carol Clerk).

Members of Hawkwind and Vivian Stanshall......what's not to like? ;D

They escaped in panic, out from Paris Hotel in into a car.
chase by stoned and psychotic Robert Calvert,
Who stood on the car roof armed with a gun a revokers and hand grenade !
while the member drive true Paris to the airport…

Acid heads.. Silver Machine.. Trippy stuff..

They also sacked Lemmy K - who went to form Motorhead..

When you edit a post that contains a link to a video, that link is automatically erased on saving.

This is a well-known bug from this forum's interface that has never been properly addressed it seems... :(

No, it was there before I edited. The video initially showed up after I posted. Weird.

I have this CD somewhere here (As Shivering knows). :)

Also, I saw Monster Magnet a few months ago. They opened with N.O.D. Space. That made me happy.

Top ten.. what?

Ah, right..

Yeah,
Ok,

Acid-Freaks didn't/don't, like, go in for that kind of superficial/crass commercialism, man..
