Hi everyone - Im a newby on this site - which by the way is incredible!! Im still working my way round it and have found a huge amount of data relating to particular projects I am researching - Fairey & Saunders Roe aircraft. I thought you may be interested in this link - it takes you to the Canadian Patents office website.This database lets you access over 75 years of patent descriptions and images. You can search, retrieve and study more than 1,500,000 patent documents. Using the basic search for items such as airships or flying boats or searching by company name has turned up some real gems. Does anyone know of similar sites.

Thanks for the great link.

In just a couple of minutes I found a few Orenda patents that might have been connected to the Iroquois turbojet for the Avro Arrow.
