Breguet 470T Fulgur

Thanks Justo !

Quite clearly influenced by the DC 2/DC 3, although the military version, the Br.460
formed the basis.

Is it so? What of the Bréguet 46T then, which was also called the Fulgur?

What I found is, that the 46T was just the mock-up, or maybe the uncompleted
prototype. The designation was then changed to 470T. Admittedly, the source is
just "Flugzeuge von A to Z", better for a general overview, than for finding details.
The Minidocavia N° 8 "Les Prototypes De Transport Civils Francais" doens't mention
more details either, but has at least the attached photo.

Nice picture! True, it was only a mockup, as the caption to my picture implies:

The Bréguet 46 T presented at the 1934 Paris Air Show was only a full-scale mockup, though a very well done one. It was already christened the "Fulgur" as a tribute to the great Jules Verne...

What bugs me here is that the "46" slot was used for two different projects: the "Fulgur" (which then received the "47" slot as the 470 T) and the "Vultur" or 460.

Maybe because bothe used at least the same wing and probably the same, or very similar
empenage ?

Two more pics of the Fulgur attached below.

The aircraft had quite an interesting, albeit short, career. It took part in the Istres-Damas-Paris race between France and Lebanon, in the hands of famous pilot Paul Codos, and ended its career in the Spanish civil war.
