Interesting, thanks. This reminds me of another design by Boeing, the HOC (which I don't have much about), but mostly, it seems like a direct forerunner of their PMH-1 Pegasus:

*are* those AH-56's on the mini-carrier? Because that's what they look like. I ask for reasons of CGI.

Jane's 71-72 doesn't seem to have any mention of HOC, but does have some information on a earlier hydrofoil Boeing PCH 1 High Point.
( my guess for the helicopters was S 67 Blackhawks but I think the ones shown are a bit too small )

Yeah. I didn't share the PCH-1 or the other Boeing hydrofoils (PGM-2, etc.) because they seemed too different from the 923 series.
But if this is of any interest to anyone I can share some.

Yes, I for one would like to see more information on them. Do you think it's better to put them in this thread or to have a thread for each boat?

I suppose there could be a single topic for unbuilt projects, and perhaps separate topics for each produced type? That's what I've just done with three separate Boeing topics. I know it's not a perfect solution either, especially in the case of the Model 929 series, which was pretty much a produced type, and therefore not in its proper place under the "Naval projects" heading, but we don't have a naval equivalent of the "Aerospace" section here... I'm open to any suggestions.
