Thanks for that link. We had a family vacation to Seattle in the mid '70s and while on the ferry crossing the sound, a Navy hydrofoil "flew" past us, making us looking like we were standing still. Impressive to see in action and I was surprised at how long the 'foil wake remained after it had passed by us.
