Nice to see this design being updated.

It seemed to run out of steam with many of the RN C3 proposals.
Thanks for posting.

With regards as to the Venator-110, via the UK Defence Journal blog:

ORIGINAL CAPTION: A possible configuration of the Venator-110 design. Copyright BMT.

The notation of 24 VLS cells for SAMs or decoys is interesting. Sounds like the installation might be a pair of Lockheed ExLS 3-cell launchers with quad-pack Sea Ceptor missiles or Nulka decoys.

Uploading a technical brief on Venator 110 originally posted by Navy Lookout. Just wanted to preserve it for posterity. (Most of the BMT links above don't work anymore)

This brief does confirm that ExLS was considered the primary armament option (two or four 3-cell modules, for 24-48 CAMM missiles). At the very top end, apparently two 3-cell ExLS and one 8-cell Mk 41 was proposed, but it seems that this would come at the cost of the separate space for antiship missiles.

Also of note, the rendering on page 8 shows the then-fashionable Centurion trainable decoy launcher (the Daleks mounted around midships). The caption mentions LMM as one armament, and I was hunting for the launchers before I realized that they were probably considered an alternative loadout for these decoy launchers.
