Work by Holger Bull published in a Nat Geo documentary here is the P.214 before finishing with a surely speculative configuration where we see a Focke-Achgelis Fa P-1 manned AA rocket mounted on the P.214 then a second configuration perhaps speculative also exhibited at the museum where the Fa P-1 AA rocket appears under the wings of a ghota P.60C. So I think we go from one speculation to another without confirmation.

All we need now is an Fa P-1 on top of a P.214 which is on top of the Stockel carried by a Fw 190 atop a Ju 388 on a Ju 390.

Blohm & Voss MGRP (Manually Controlled Rocket Projectile)


This project was a rocket bomb or bomb rocket, which was guided close to the target by a parasite aircraft.The rocket and the parasite aircraft were carried on the back of a Do 217 to within 180 km of the target (a city). Before release, the Do 217 entered a shallow dive so that the rocket's ramjet engine could be ignited. The parasite aircraft climbed with it immediately into a stratospheric altitude range, from where the pilot could locate his target using radar and, transitioning into a ballistic curve, fire the rocket. He reached an estimated load of 20 G during this maneuver.To absorb at least part of this load, the pilot flew in a reclined position in a harness system with shock absorbers.After release, the pilot ignited the ramjet engine of his aircraft and could now fly back with full tanks.
