There are different details as to the year in which Bedek Aircraft Company was renamed IAI (or became part of the new company): In April 1967 (German Wikipedia) or as early as June 1960 (Gunston)?

Who can solve the riddle?

It wasn't ever "renamed". IAI was created as a subsidiary of Bedek prior to December 1961, as a story in AWST from that date refers to IAI. So that's a vote for Gunston.

The Bedek name is still in use today for IAI's airliner maintenance division.
