BAE Systems Adaptiv camouflage system

Is there any info on the exact mechanic of that system? Heating seems straight forward, but what about cooling? How does the tile cool from, say, 30 deg celsius to 5 deg celsius? And how long does that change take? How long can such a low temperature be held? What does the tank use up to maintain such temperature? Does it use some sort of centrally stored gas that helps with vaporization and cooling? And is it a closed system like in the fridge or a not fully closed system, like in an AC, where the gas does need to be replenished from time to time due to various joint' leakage?
 
The system uses thermoelectric panels; Peltier Plates, see HERE.

"Adaptiv is an active camouflage technology developed by BAE Systems AB to protect military vehicles from detection by far infrared night vision devices, providing infrared stealth. It consists of an array of hexagonal Peltier plates which can be rapidly heated and cooled to form any desired image, such as of the natural background or of a non-target object. Its goal is to develop Stealth ground vehicles."
