Does anyone have information about the requirements and other factors that shaped the design of the Danish Peder Skram class frigates built in the mid 60s? The mix of CODAG Propulsion with an initial armament that consisted of depth charges and WWII era guns seems like a very interesting mix of cutting edge and rather dated features and I'm wondering what sort of thinking led to such a design.
