Bach Super Transport Project of 1928

Super Transport 1928 = 25pCswB; four 410hp P&W Wasp; span: 85'0" v (est): 152/120/x range (est): 800. Ambitious design project which never made it to production, but is included because of its design magnificence for the time. The double-deck fuselage had two lounges, a buffet table, 6'3" ceiling height. Dual, brake-equipped wheels had a 20'6" tread. Calculated to cruise on any three motors, and maintain level flight with only two, this would have been the King Kong of airliners had it gotten off the drawing board.

Now I'm wanting a 1/72 scale model kit with full interior and figures for crew and passengers.

Hello, Welcome to this Tales From the Hut & Hangar Aviation Rarities episode. This one never got past the design stage.

Interesting aircraft design ideas & attempts are worth remembering. The Bach Super Transporter is one of them. It was just on the safe side of being a monstrosity. Looking at it you would think it was probably French or at least a European design. But no, it was from America.
I liked it & a shame it was a never was.

Thanks for sharing my vid. I was pleased with how I tricked AI eventually to render the aircraft near enough.
