I haven't seen hardly anything on this. Pakistan has mounted P282 SMASH anti-ship ballistic missiles on a 3000 ton displacement corvette. That's a whole new class of naval weaponry right there. The launcher tubes are so long they barely fit. No good pics available of the ship with missile launcher installed and loaded, though missile tests are already underway. The best I could find was a model. The Indians claim to be able to defeat this ASBM with Glonass jamming (third link below).

your using IDRW as a source.......(don't they're a rag), if it was so easy to beat ballistics with jamming it would have been done in the middle east. Jamming helps but doesn't nuetralize the threat.

No the IN is just relatively confident in the SRBM capability of the barak-8 while also simultaneously developing a 250km range AD missile(flies at mach 5.5) specifically engineered to beat ASBMs at a terminal velocity of mach 7-8. Although that's also aimed towards the naval HGVs being developed by China so some capability overlap.

Azerbaijan claimed the israeli export of the barak 8 intercepted the armenian iskander during their war.

Tried to find a better source, but no luck. I'm well aware of the limitations of ECM.

Interesting that the Barak-8 had a successful battlefield SRBM intercept. If accurate, that should help sales considerably.

For Indian defence stuff its usually a lot better to just stick to official sources. ANI is also a pretty good source as they are bascically a gov mouthpiece.

Its what the azeries claim and considering armenia did possess the iskander(although this was the export version and before all the extra development of the ukraine war) it kinda checks out.

For what its worth the P282 does give the IN more headache but not that much more considering the overwhelming firepower advantage in terms of surface ships the IN has over the PN. Not considering the Air launches brahmos and what not as well.

The real threat of the PN is the sub fleet which is why you see India drastically expanding its ASW fleet on top of autonomous XLUUVs and underwater sensors across the arabian sea and the P8I/MQ9B fleet.

got really lucky being online right as you replied lol. I'm usually not very active especially compared to some of the other members here.

I'm guessing the P282 is roughly on par with Iran's ASBMs. Given the Houthi's experience with them, they don't seem that precise. Of course the Houthis aren't the most sophisticated operators of technical equipment, either.

ehhhh not really i think its a derivative of a chinese missile or a license produced version of it. So its not as bad as the houthi's missiles.
