Armella-Senemaud AS.10 "Mistral"

There should be an article by Robert J. Roux in Le Fana de L'Aviation
of Febr.1986 Nr.195. pages 39-43.

I think your illustration is a part of the Musée de l'Air collection-France.

Lark- Is this a French only periodical? Thanks anyways.

The Armella-Senemaud AS 10 was basically designed by Bernard Armella, also known
as Bernard Dupérier ,brilliant French ace of the RAF with 5 victories.
He worked together with professor M.Senemaud of the Ecole des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile (L'ETACA)
The AS 10 'Mistral' was a four seat hydroplane constructed like a speed boat.
Not very well aerodynamically designed it was far to heavy for the two De Havilland 120hp 'Gipsy' engines.
Testflights were made at the end of 1935 and early 1936.

No dimensions nor performence or drawings found.

Abridged from: Le Fana No.195

Does this help? The article is from l'Aéro but I'll have to go back to my source to ascertain the date.

here is the Armella-Senemaud AS.10 Model, also the unknown variant AS.105,
and may be AS.101,but I am not sure about last design.

From TU 175,

here is a proof for AS.105 and AS.10S,the first was a transport for five passengers and the second
was a ambulance respectively.

Interesting. Thanks hesham.

So the designation system adds a suffix to A.S.10 depending upon role - A.S.105 indicated five persons carried (pilot + 4 passenger); A.S.10S indicated Sanitaire for an ambulance aircraft. In the Spanish section, 'tipo A.S.101' was a typo for A.S.10S (since it too lists 1 pilot, 1 medical attendant, and two stretcher cases).
