During 1944, the state-owned Dirección Militar de Fabricaciones Militares (DGFM, or Directorate General of Military Manufactures began to develop several rocket launchers inn 75 mm and 105 mm. caliber. They were first publicly displayed in the 9 July 1948 parade, two batteries, one towed and the other mounted on Crusader tractor chassis.
