AN/APQ-133 X-band radar

I'm looking for information on ground beacons, which were compatible with the AN/APQ-133 X-band airborne radar. This low power radar was used i.a. in the AC-130A and AC-119K gunships. Were the beacons primarily used to mark the position of friendly forces, which was to be avoided by the gunships?
 
Were the AN/PPN-19 or AN/PPN-20 portable beacons compatible with the AN/APQ-133?
