Hi,

The Versuchsflugbau der T.H. Breslau developed this plane under supervision of Prof. Schmeidler, possible to change wing area during flight as variable incidence wing, and called SN-2 of 1930s.

Hi,

also the SN-1 was an experimental monoplane, with variable incidence wing, the EE13
was a Project of modified Grunau Baby II in 1933,the EE14 was a single seat glider,
not finished.

Also Prof. Schmeidler and Dipl.-Ing. Rudolf Jaeschke designed a SJ,it was a single seat
experimental biplane of 1930,a projected for a plane with adjustable chord, powered by
one ABC engine,not built.

Are you sure variable incidence isn't a mistranslation? It is hard to tell from the photos - but I'd lean towards describing it as variable camber.

The aircraft shown in Flight and Hesham's first post is the SN-1 D-2257 , the one shown by the THREE pictures in the second Hesham's post is the SN-2 D-YRON .

Well, if you mean "variable geometry" as the ability to change only the sweepback angle, then, yes, you are right. But in a broader sense, this system varies shape, camber and wing area, so it does varies "geometry". Also, my translation was meant for a wider, more general public, not strictly for specialists. But thank you for raising a good point. L.

Oh, thank you so much. I will add that to my post. I think a good drawing is always more interesting than a picture.
