My dears,

we know AJI company (American Jet Industries),and it was built the Super Pinto
a developed version of Temco Pinto two seat jet trainer, when I check this company
I found that it was also design a five seat executive aircraft,a version of Super Pinto
do you hear about that design ?.

My dears,

no one hears about that design, which was based on Super Pinto as five
seat executive aircraft !!.

From Aviation magazine 1973.

So weird this company, its designs were Model 400,500,600 and a recently concepts
Model 610,620,630 & 640,I think these projects may be fulfill or exist between Model
100 to 300,which were unknwon !?.

Nothing weird about these designs - there are 3 or 4 different turboprop conversions/versions of the Bonanza (not V-tail though) out there today. The 5 seat executive looks like a Super Pinto but in no way is any part of it from a Super Pinto/TT-1. The idea was ahead of its time - VLJ designs of today such as the Eclipse, Citation Mustang, etc. are of the same size/class. Plenty of others of the same class that were prototyped but did not make it to production.

Hi,

I think the number 400 was not came from nowhere, but we can assume there areModel 100,200 & 300, any suggesting.

AJI started off in 1951 as California Airmotive Corp., North Hollywood, Calif., one of the largest dealers in second-hand aircraft. In the 1960s, they modified the Temco TT-1 for civilian/export markets as the A-610 (or T-610) Super Pinto. In 1969, they produced the C Bird, a tandem-rotor test-bed with pilot sitting astride the main frame (this was a former Filper design built and tested under California Airmotive). Also in 1969, they produced the Turbo Star 402, a turboprop conversion of the Cessna 402 powered by two Allison 250-B17 engines, then a similarly converted Beechcraft Baron as the Turbo Star Baron circa 1972 and the Turbo Star Pressurized 414 in 1974 based on the Cessna 414.

California Airmotive was renamed as American Jet Industries Inc., Van Nuys, Calif. in 1973. They sponsored a highly-modified F8F Bearcat by Darryl Greenamyer called the "Conquest I", and the F-104RB (or RB-104) "Red Baron", a Lockheed F-104 rebuilt from scrap by the same Darryl Greenamyer to attempt to break the altitude record.

Throughout all those years, there is absolutely no indication that the company used any system of designations for all those modified aircraft. The Model 400 Turbo-Star, developed from 1974 onwards (later renamed the Hustler 400) was the first AJI type to carry a model designation, followed by the Hustler 500 and Peregrine 600. After that, AJI acquires the Gulfstream rights from Grumman and becomes the Gulfstream American Corp. Although it is possible that the designations 100 to 300 may have existed on paper, it seems more likely that "400" was chosen arbitrarily, possibly to sound higher than all then-existing business prop types.

Projects that weren't built. The captions are self-explanatory! Since the T-610 for 4 people was designated T-610-4, perhaps the project for six people was designated "T-610-6"?? At any rate, the drawing was done by an Aviation Magazine artist, it is not an official AJI one.

From Technika Lotnicza 1970,

the California Airmotive Corp. (Los Angeles) has equipped a Beechcraft "Bonanza" (Fig. 3) with an Allison 250-B15 engine. The new version, called the "Turbo Star Bonanza," is expected to reach a speed of 393 km/h (240 mph) at an altitude of 3,660 m, compared to 348 km/h (211 mph) in the original version. The cost of converting the "Bonanza" aircraft is $40,000.
