An interesting flight test to start soon with a hybrid engines configuration: PW210 + 2 Collins Electric Motors of 250kW:

The project will replace the aircraft’s existing pair of 667-shp Safran Arriel 2E turboshafts with a single 1,000 shp Pratt & Whitney Canada PW210S and two Collins-developed 250-kW electric motors powered by lithium ion batteries. It is targeting a 30% reduction in fuel burn when combined with aerodynamic modifications. It will also help the company better understand how to best use hybrid electric technologies to improve efficiency over the flight envelope.

In 2027, could you reach more than 450 deliveries?

Maybe not in 2027. But this ramp-up will continue in the coming years, like the example of the H145, which has nearly 75% of market share in the civil sector. On the military market, there is also a very strong demand: Germany has confirmed an option of 20 H145M and there is a very significant interest in this military version of European customers and large exports. We made investment decisions early last year to produce up to 140 H145 per year (compared to 60 three years ago). In 2024, we delivered more than 80; in 2025, we are around a hundred and we are aiming for 140. Through the H145, we clearly visualise the stakes of the Airbus Helicopters ramp-up. Our main challenge is to respond to civilian customers who should not be impacted by the high deliveries of military aircraft. Our clients have not only needs, but also short-term needs. We are on delivery horizons that are increasingly short-term. We made these investments to be able to deliver more.
