Dear Boys & Girls, please can any of you recommend the definitive (and complete) contents listings for both Air Enthusiast (quarterly & then bi-monthly) and Aeroplane (monthly). I'm trying to fill the gaps in my collection of back issues, but both magazines' publishers' websites are ineffectual to say the least......

Very many thanks,

Terry, (Caravellarella).

I've got 'Aeroplane Monthly' complete from 1975 to 1995, and a fair collection of 'Air International'
and 'Air Enthusiast' from the same period.
If you've a query about a specific issue, PM me and I'll see what I can do.

cheers,
Robin.

One of the cool things about the site is that anyone can edit it - so if you see a gap feel free to add the articles in, its quite simple - you just need a login. Hopefully that means the indexes will keep growing and growing without having to rely on one person.

The other cool thing about that site is that the articles/books are indexed by aircraft (and author too!)/ Quite useful if you are after the more obscure aircraft - less useful for something like the spitfire since there are so many.

E.g.

http://www.theaviationindex.com/aircraft-types/blackburn-b48-firecrest-sbac-ya1

Interesting! This must be a Wiki-type interface. Thanks for the tip. And welcome to our forum, htbrst!
