Aerodynamics of delta winged loitering munitions (Dornier DAR, IAI Harpy, Shahed 131, Geran)

I was wondering about the aerodynamic choices in these designs. Wouldn't a higher aspect ratio wing give a better lift-to-drag ratio? What considerations shape these aerodynamic choices?

What actual cruise l/d ratio is likely?

I assume part of it is that those wings are very simple structurally.

The Vulcan vs. B-47 comparison comes to mind (wetted area!). Also, it makes for a relatively compact airframe (storage/transport) without folding joints.

Not as spindly of course---even if straight wings might be better for loitering in a purely academic sense. More than simple aerodynamics are at play here. I know.... triangles...

I suspect that the superior gust response of a low aspect ratio delta is a big plus for something flying fairly low.
