I admire anyone who takes up arms for a cause they believe in. I am in awe of those that have the courage to lead
 
He maintained the honour of the Royal Navy after many had put it to pasture. Although an Army fellow I believe the appropriate term is "Bravo Zulu" Admiral.
 
I'm sure there were a great many people [in both hemispheres] who bowed their heads when they heard this sad news. RIP.
