A Full-sized Paper Glider

Hello All,

Here are some images of the PG-I, a full-sized glider constructed from paper and cardboard. This was a student project, carried out in 1970 by a small team of students at Ohio State University. Flight tests were conducted on 21 August 1970, with the glider not surviving the day.

Although it was reported that the craft was a man-carrying glider, that's not quite the case. The PG-I had been designed to be piloted, but the flight tests were conducted without anyone being aboard.

I thought so, too, but I've not been able to find proof of that, though. David W. Hall isn't that uncommon a name, unfortunately.
