Apparently, the abortive Malta-class carrier was to equip 8 113mm/45 Mk. VII twin mountings. I could not find any additional information about this gun, nor how it was supposed to be distinguished from the Mk. VI mountings used on the Daring-class destroyers. If anyone has any more information on this weapon, it would be much appreciated.

Make sure you're searching for 4.5" or 114mm Mk VII (or Mk 7), 113mm may be the actual bore but it's not the figure normally referenced.

Gun performance should be identical with the Mk VI as both mountings used the Mk V gun - remember RN usage had gun and mounting with individual mark numbers until the early '50s - so officially it would be something like QF 4.5"/45 Mk V on RP41 Twin Mounting Mk VII, later becoming the QF 4.5" Mk 7.

So the Navweaps performance data should apply to both Mk VI and Mk VII mountings.
