1:5 kill ratio: Ukraine inflicts heavy Russian losses using drones, says Finnish president

Ukraine currently has a military advantage over Russia, according to Finnish President Alexander Stubb, with Moscow experiencing personnel losses at a rate five times higher than Kyiv’s, largely due to Ukraine’s steadily improving drone kill rates.
“I think Ukraine is in a much better place than it has been at any stage in this horrific war — the killing ratio right now is 1:5, one Ukrainian soldier to five Russian soldiers. … The rate at which they’re going now is roughly 150 to 157 dead [Russian] soldiers per square kilometers,” Stubb said during a panel organized by the Brookings Institution on Monday while on an official visit to Washington.
However, Stubb remained optimistic, especially regarding Ukraine’s combat effectiveness, noting that it has achieved 95 percent of its recent kills via drones.

How much of that is real and how much is wishful thinking is the question, though.
I think it's fairly decent information based on the same figures than indicated an overall wartime ratio of 1:2.5 in January. So the ratio has increased based on the same data.

I'll admit I'm rather doubtful of such ratios. There are more than enough examples in every war of "optimistic" kill counts.

If 95% of recent causalities are from drones, I have to assume there is almost no ground being gained or lost at this point. What is artillery and the big-ticket items doing? Waiting for the possibility that the Russians mass forces to try for major push?

ukranian SPGs have been getting hit quite hard with the active use of drones. everything has been getting hit hard. for example:

Ive noticed that ukraine has wayyyy more armoured cars and MRAP losses but russia ahs significantly more IFV losses so i assume the russians use IFVs while the ukranians make use of armoured civilians cars as well as MRAPs that can be easily resupplied by its friends.

obviously these stats do not paint the true picture but they're generally visually identified losses so they show a trend.
Take them with a grain of salt though since they might not be fully accurate caused i poached it off a pro russian subreddit and it may have bias although the 2 sources used are relatively good for their ability to paint a true picture.

I doubt anyone outside the war has a remotely good idea of what the casualties or exchange rates are. Honestly sometimes I wonder if the actual participants are keeping particularly good track of such numbers. I would discount most any publicly released number as self serving for whoever released it.

Where are the graphs from though, what figures are they based on? These figures don't support those graphs.

There's significant disparity in Russian SPG losses for April for instance, visually verified Russian SPG losses were twice as high as claimed by your Excel graphs.

'Not supported post'?

Either way, if visually confirmed losses were twice as high for April, it's clearly flawed.

1. It's been ages since we've known that drones for both sides are of Chinese origins, mainly FPVs. This is old news.

2. Russia import-substituted everything but FPV drones, because they used Chinese drones since ever, so they substituted absolutely nothing in the FPV aspect. Moreover there's a very good probability that most of the production, like Geran, is localized.
