Bringing down MALEs (aka, persistent overwatch and interdiction) has proven to be a decisive factor for modern air power. No MALEs and it becomes half blind.
Eren solves just that, from your own MALE at that; you get your own MALE over area, you remove theirs. 2 in 1.

More so with Akinci specifically - as it has such a broad range of munitions(from small to bunker busters or stand off ballistics, from anti-drone to BVRAAM), in these conflicts it by itself represents airpower.

Another double A2A kill today. I know most of the videos weren't posted here, but honestly, too many CH-95s got shot down over Sudan. I wish somebody counted it because I think it's over 20 now, with another 5 to 6 Akıncı on Akıncı kills. That's A LOT. And these are only the ones that we saw; there could be even more that we haven't heard yet. Considering how many got lost (including the ones taken down by other anti-aircraft elements), the RSF must have an astonishing number of UAVs to operate.

There are at least two of them around for now, AFAWK... (that is, they could also be swapping the same equipment among these two aircraft too)



NGL, Chinese MR-ADS coupled with EL/M-2084 were honestly swatting them out of the sky (as expected) before they received anything beyond the most basic equipment...
