Is the BAE Nyan one way effector that is being used for strikes inside Russia now a child of the Taranis? Callen-Lenz was bought by BAE in 2024 and put inside the Falconworks divsion at which point the drone changed from a conventional aircraft like fuselage and wing to a stealthy diamond wing.

The Times paper reported it is, although I think it has a range of 250KM, there or there abouts.
 
This bit did surprise me about Nyan....

Can't imagine the Army have taken more than 250 as they also have Modini's Dart 250 in Estonia. So a decent number must have gone to Ukraine...

First tested by BAE Systems this summer, the drone has a wingspan of 2.9 metres and can fly more than 150 miles, the defence company said on its website.

Hope they have good security.

The second drone used by the Ukrainian military and made in British factories has a range of more than 600 miles. It is launched using a catapult system allowing drones to be fired in quick succession, according to The Times, which did not name the company for security reasons.

It means bright (as in wise/intelligent/radiant) in Burmese, which they named it for I cant say.
