hello
it's difficult to find complete data (jmem , fm 6-141-2 are classified) on lethal areas so i regroup the informations aviable on these shells

standing personnel prone personnel foxhole
105mm he M1 contact 60° 390 m2 140 m2
contact 45° 270 m2
air burst 60° 330 m2 40 m2
hera m913 contact 45° 486 m2

155mm m107 contact 60° 971 m2 346 m2
air burst 60° 1240 m2 939 m2 130 m2 TNT loaded
m795 contact 60° 2136 m2 795 m2
m483 8059 m2 2730 m2

the m107 is comp b loaded .

we have data on soviet calibers from foia archives
but in this document the zones of destruction by range are inverted
the correct values are : 60° 45°
130mm 740m2-500m2
122mm 715m2-550m2
152mmH 1000m2-720m2
of482m is as effective as m107 against personnel in open
.soviet shells have better fragmentation, not by design but by easier fabrication.
the m46 is the best artillery piece of the cold war.

I was comparing casinos with fast PayID payments and realised speed isn’t the only thing to check. Minimums, account setup, and terms all matter too. The page at casinos with fast PayID payments brought those points together nicely, so it was easier to decide which sites were worth looking at further.
The American 155-mm M107 shell is indeed loaded with Composition B (a mixture of TNT and hexogen), which gives it a high detonation velocity; however, Soviet metallurgy and artillery doctrine created a strong alternative in the form of high-explosive fragmentation shells for the M-46 cannon (130 mm), the D-30 howitzer (122 mm), and the D-20/2S3 howitzers (152 mm). Your comment regarding the FOIA archives (CIA/RUMO) accurately reflects a historical fact: American intelligence often confused angles of impact (perpendicular fire at \(60^{\circ }\) produces a more rounded but compact area of effect, while grazing fire at \(45^{\circ }\) produces an elongated one). Soviet S-60 steel and steel-grade cast iron, despite being simpler to produce, did indeed produce more uniform fragmentation into lethal fragments of optimal mass (\(1.5 - 4\) grams) than American HF-1 carbon steel.

cast iron shell are very cost effective but can't been fire at high pressure . the WW2 era 120mm soviet mortar remain a potent weapon.
but increase fragmentation for long range shell need HF1 steel. Is it cost effectiveness? An m795 cost in in 2024 2400$, a ukrainian m107 in 2026 2500$.so it will be the good choice.
russian have developped 152mm 3of25 shell who have target effect x1.5-2 greater than of540 so they have produced an equivalent steel to HF1.
calculating the conditionnal domage of some shells. 18 guns bataillon , 12rounds in 3 minutes, prone personnel contact fuze.
130mm m46 at 24km of482m .PD/C 0.953, is good
130mm m46 at 40km vlap PD/C 0.15, useless
155mm g6 at 55km vlap PD/C 0.10,useless
at 40km erfb bb PD/C 0.55
g6 l52 at 50km erfb bb PD/C 0.38

i use "rapid methods for the prediction of damage by fragments" brl report n°530 ,
and when i have no frag data mott's formulas and drawings .

i found 75mm m48 tnt loaded 45° ground burst standing targets, AL 127M2,
verified in "HEP statut report" .zis3 has 241m2.
105mm m1 271m2 at 60° . jane's said 290m2 matching with foia data 390m2 air burst.
i hope it will be the last changes.
an other correlation is the 155mm erfb tnt loaded (10700x2.914gr frags at 4215ftsec)
with 65° ground burst AL 1035m2(825m2 at 45°) ,denel say 1015m2.
