Loaded up X today and saw this:

May as well have told me I was dressed inappropriately. It means literally nothing to me in terms of being able to figure out what caused it. I guess this is what happens when bots are allocated to determine if people are authentic.

Wait, I'm not the only one?

They suspended me with this exact excuse, I "appealed", they reinstalled me and then suspended me again in 20 minutes!
 
I found someone impersonating me on Facebook. They were using an image of me, my name, and messaging all my friends with friend requests. I reported their profile but apparently, according to Facebook everything was legit and the decision was final with no appeal.

Have had this happen twice with friends on Instagram

Well Reddit works a bit differently, cause each sub is moderated by his own mods, so it really depends of the sub. Plus there are the "grand masters" mods of Reddit itself of course, but I don't find them as cryptic as on other places.
 
Iunno, my take is I can't be banned if I never join. I'm still waiting out xitter and facebook...

You have been spamming this forum with X links for quite some time. 15 of your last 20 forum posts have contained an X link with no added opinion. The links have a unique identification code that shows your X account. So when hundreds of people on this forum including AI agents click your link it makes you look guilty for obvious reasons.

This is the exact technique bots use to make something start trending on social media.

Looking at several of the links he has posted recently, no, they do not. They are canonical URLs to tweets with the "s" query parameter. The "s" query parameter indicates the "source" that generated the link - in this case the value of 20 indicates the twitter app's share/copy URL is the source.

There is nothing in the links I looked at that identifies his account.

So I get an e-mail from a bot, telling me it's upholding its decision, I submit another appeal and then this e-mail, except my account is still suspended. JFC, this is the stupidest crap I've ever seen, it's no wonder Grok is doing so badly.

Yeah, I deleted cookies and cache and tried logging in again, same crap. This has happened 2-3 times now, account retsored e-mail but not restored.

Yup, that's bot moderation for you. One slight mistake by anyone and a life sentence is issued and carried out, as per the botmasters' intent all along.
 
Same thing happened to me for absolutely no reason. I don't really share X links anywhere either. However, I appealed and they unbanned me after a week or so.

r/france moderation and rules are so arcane and dumbarse the sub is bleeding members. Totally byzantine and piece of shit.

Pardon me for asking this but, in an environment like has been described here, WHY are folk not just leaving?

You never know, they might notice and fix things. Unlikely but it's a bit like hating people kicking you and entering an arse kicking contest. It's going to do what it does until folk change THEIR behaviour.

If a neighbour is always rude to you, you STOP TALKING TO THEM...........

One thing reddit has done to make this a more difficult situation to avoid is hide the mod list from the userbase. That means there's only one way to find out the subreddit mods are literally middle school age Mean Girls on a power trip, and it's at risk of a permban from the sub or reddit altogether.

Well that seems to be a good explanation why r/france moderation is such a bunch of nazis...
 
If enough people leave these anti-social mediums, they WILL be encouragement to change behaviours, apply intelligent rather than teenage or artificial moderation and maybe, just maybe, they will get better......

I suspect most moderation will be shifting to AI instead of people, much more so than now.
It will also likely be trained on the people currently moderating things and will inherit the power-tripping nature of said weasels.
 
So what will happen when the majority of accounts are the teenage tantrums and ai? IMHO, they can moderate each other to there and back.

No idea, the closest I came to anti-social medium to small was years ago, like a few decades when it was all atarting.
An 18 year old member acquired everyone's contact details and entered them into the system. It took about a year for them to stop bothering me.
"Be the first to know" etc.......
How much moolah do these scrotes rake in from folk?

IMHO, there is a need for a lot more artificial reef projects, if those artificial reef's happen to be seeded for the marine life, oooops.

The scrotes rake in ungodly amounts of money, and more importantly personal information which they use to train their AI models. Some of the push for digital IDs is, I suspect, so that they can filter out the bots and only steal real people's information.
