In among the current Hantavirus outbreak was one patient who'd got off on Tristan da Cunha, because he lives there. When his case turned critical, the island, which is a week by ship from anywhere, with no airfield, started running out of oxygen, so a call for help went out to Whitehall. Enter the RAF and the Pathfinder Platoon of the Parachute Regiment - 56 hours and 7000 miles later, an A400M drops six pathfinders, two tandem jumping with a doctor and nurse, onto the island's golf course.

onto the island's golf course.
Didn’t even know this, but they managed to build a golf course on Tristan da Cunha… of course they did. Can’t leave 300 Brits without a proper golf course.

Well the River class patrol vessel with the bulk of the medical supplies has now arrived, the patient must have been in a bad way to need to Para drop sooner.
