Do you know where the image of the glider originates from? I would assume this was something made for a glider competition by amateur aircraft designers or students. Since such projects numbered in the thousands, it would be very difficult to pinpoint the make of this aircraft without additional information.
 
Some googling and browsing later....
German gliders got going at the Wasserkuppe. The photo could well be from there. After the pioneering Vampyr (competed 1921-1923), there were a couple of developments with tails that look a little like the one in the photo here. Strolch and Moritz.

Perttime - thank you very much. I was also inclined towards the "Vampire" option, but I was confused by the tail. That's why I asked to identify the photo.
 
That looks very similar, too. Just without the eagle(?) logos. that the others have. A couple of years later than Strolch and Moritz, it seems.
