Move to The Bar?
I just wanted a serious conversation with Senior member
not a escalating Fight in the Bar section...

Thank you for your offer Chris, but in Europe we already have two quite satisfactory ones in Santorini and Campi Flegrei.;)

Everyone is welcome to submit their opinions, if they are serious, they will receive serious answers and if not, a little humor would be good among so much bad news.

I tend to ignore bitter guys who are just looking for excuses to close the thread, except if they ask something important or ask for help with information about airplanes.

There is informed speculation at one end, there are fantasies and at the far end magical thinking. I have great difficulty relating to the last category.
So far this thread looks oddly out of place, in tone and subject, in this section.
"Use for posts you don't want visible to guests"
Because, I guess, this section is meant to provide a safe haven for pleas for advice, information for a select audience, interesting items on offer.
I would expect some (logical) discipline here.

Computer specialist Jacques Vallée started in 1960s a computer analysis of UFO cases under J. Allen Hynek.
His result was staggering: No definition on the form of UFO and cases who were to absurd to be real.

You know, big head aliens, telepathy, flying saucers, extended medical investigation on abducted Human...
And UFO interiors cheaply made by ITV Space: 1999 or form BBC Doctor Who in 1970s.
Or aliens action that make no sense what so ever, asking for Water or to using the bathroom..

This let Vallée in deeper investigation including legends about elf's and fairies from middle ages and older Celtic stories.
and came to conclusion UFO are not extraterrestrials origin, but a terrestrial phenomenon.
his book Passport to Magonia: On UFOs, Folklore, and Parallel Worlds, was consider a heresy under ufologist.

More on the matter in this excellent Video

One of the extraterrestrial races that settled here about 250-300 years ago chose the Anglo-Saxons as its agents. This is the reason for Britain's sudden rise in the nineteenth century. Before that, English was not included in the sphere of study of the cultured people of the planet as unnecessary. The aliens, realizing that humans were here, at the very bottom of the Sky, illegally, began to promote technological progress to make this territory impossible for humans to live in.
All the filth emanating from this alien race is propagandized here by the Anglo-Saxons. But suddenly, the "guests" were faced with a problem they didn't even know about. Everyone who "got" here falls under the Law of Karma, regardless of their origin. And they will have to answer for their actions. After about 300 years of irresponsibility, it's time to pay off your debts. This is the beginning of the global decline of the Anglo-Saxon civilization and its curators. Or, as Putin said: "The Ball of vampires" is coming to an end

Wait forty-eight hours for the electricity generated by technological progress to return (after a blackout caused by renewable energies as happened in my country causing twenty deaths) and you will go out into the streets shouting... is it that no one is going to do anything?

60 posts of this kind, in the 'Senior members only' section? Really?

Shall we create a Senior members' bar or speculation section?

That is the least the forum can do for its Senior Members, who have contributed so much to the system. An exclusive bar sounds good... if the drinks are of quality. Thanks for the idea.

During the nineties of the last century, I was co-owner of a pilots' bar called Spitfire, on the bar there were simulated ejection seats and on each of them on the ceiling of the bar we had painted an emergency hatch with the word Eject!

Some customers looked at the seat apprehensively and ordered their drinks standing.

  • Posts on alien UFOs, speculative Nazi wunderwaffen/flying saucers/atomic bombs, general conspiracy theories, alien crashes, moon landing denial and the like are specifically discouraged and would be better posted elsewhere.
