KDDI announced on the 11th that it has begun a demonstration test to use zinc secondary batteries being developed by NGK as backup power equipment for mobile communication base stations. Zinc secondary batteries weigh half as much as lead-acid batteries used in many base stations, allowing more space for installation. With the same size and twice the capacity, base station operating time can be extended to up to 72 hours.

In the demonstration, the system will be operated in a real environment for one year, and operations will be verified through seasonal changes in temperature and humidity, as well as power outage tests.

Of course, this is a very theoretical value, these super Nanotubes are not available in industrial scale and the flywheel also needs sprockets and a massive housing which should prevent a catastrophe in case of flywheel disintegration. Even if the housing stays intact, a bursting flywheel could cause the whole vehicle to spin and throw out it's passengers...

You can avoid safety issues by having multiple smaller flywheels just like how batteries have multiple cells, albeit for different reasons.

And this sort of power density could make these flywheels into very effective explosives.

I can't see any graphics in youre source, so what does it mean?

If that energy content would be realistic, a SSTO rocket would become feasible by a flywheel powered hydrogen pump without any combustion....
They're simply two different types of carbon nanotube with different properties.
