What was the power source for the Sky Shadow ECM pod used on the Tornado Gr1 and Gr4, and how was the signal actually generated?

the little inlet below the pod probably indicate that it use ambient air to spin the little turbine to provide electricity to run the pod

It's the air inlet to a turbine/heat exchanger, part of the pod's cooling system.
