1930s US Light Battleship Concept

For your entertainment, my interpretation of the US's 1930s proposed "Light Battleship". The hull is carved to the published shape, while the details are sourced from the spares box.
The original design suggested having the exhaust routed to the stern, which seemed impractical so I went with a traditional stack.
There were two versions proposed, either two twin 16" or triple 14"; I went with the latter as that's what I had in the box.
These could have replaced old South American dreadnoughts.

What you refer here are the 1942 proposal of a pair of naval university students for cheap battleships.
