LazerPig rant on Military Hardware...

I found Sparky´s pages around Desert Shield/Storm he has some interesting takes but it was obvious that he was a MM113 fan boy.
The M113 variants with all the gadgeds he wanterd to have them wouldn´t b air transportable with a C130..... and so on.
 
The A-10 rants are full of factual inaccuracies.

Yes - Did he (this LazerPig) say the Typhoon was equipped with '40mm cannons' or 'four two millimetre cannons'?

Also referenced 20mm cannons as 'miniguns'... not to mention treating the Su-25T as the baseline which the Su-25SM is an upgrade from (whereas the main Cold War Su-25 didn't have any type of screen in the cockpit)... to name a few. It makes me doubt everything else.
 
Another warning sign is that - on his T-34 video he never discusses uncertainties, data limitations etc. if the nuance could weaken his points.

That said they are enjoyable videos to watch.

Oddly enough, Mark Felton also messed up the Typhoon's armament - stating that it carried a mixture of 20mm and 0.303... admittedly a smaller error - but which shows a lack of attention to detail and fact-checking. He also was clearly relying on out of date interpretations of the Battle of Britain... so I'd largely stopped bothering with his videos (even before he started doing all of those strange Nazi biographical bits).
 
Pierre Sprey stuff was all wrong. Pierre Sprey wasn't "the designer" of the A-10 or F-16 but he did play a role in the concept formulation and requirements of both systems. Also Alexander Kartveli retired from Republic in June 1962 and worked as a consultant until his death in 1974, I'd hesitate to call him the designer of anything past the F-105.
 
His funniest take in my opinion on a very regurgitated myth that at this point equals beating a dead horse; the notion that somehow the B-2 Spirit is an copy of a German flying wing, despite it never entering production and crashing in i'ts 3rd flight:

I thought he played a role in the Republic TFX? Isn't he the guy that said Vought "wrecked his design" when they navalized it?
