Paul and George Cox are struggling to find the identity of the attached. I have been unable to help.

If it is not on the forum already, could you post the attached please with a request for info?

Paul says:

"The chap who posted this on the web has a huge following on Instagram and already has had 150 responses but lots of debate rather than an answer.

Some suggest it could be linked to the COD programme as it looks like the Boeing 953-517 in Dad/Craig’s book.
Others suggesting ground effect studies in the USA or NASA stol studies."

Many Thanks.
Very best wishes,

Tony.

Definitely American. Late 60s/70s, tending later - chap in the middle seems to be wearing his hair a little long. (He's got a Corvette and is messing around with his secretary, and also looks like the program boss.) A company (middle guy doesn't look like a NASA aeronautics guy) with a serious WT model shop. Also those are quite high-bypass engines unless this thing has an absurd amount of power, and the entire power installation extends aft of the wing, which makes me think STOL. Could it be Vought ADAM-related? Or someone's pre-AMST idea?

Super STOL cargo

That is a civilian version of an ASW airplane proposed by Grumman. It was intended to replace Lockheed S-3 Viking airplanes launched from aircraft carriers. The first version had tilting engine nacelles and canards. Canards were eliminated after they realized that those huge fan cowlings generated enough lift to balance the airplane in cruise.

I think my dear Jemiba is right,

and I saw it also in a NASA report, but where ?.
