Title says it all. I'm really new to online military forums so forgive me if it's not right to ask this here. Seeing a lot of posts here are mostly about aviation and anything else besides firearms, i feel somehow discouraged to make a post/discussion about guns so it would be great to have some similar forums which focuses on guns.

I prefer forums that is frendly to newbies but any suggestions is welcome!

id be very interested in such things i like most military hardware, but small arms development is one of my favorites becuase with 3d printing and cheap cnc its really easy to get involved in the US anyway where the laws allow it

I must caution you against 3D printing firearms. You must check local ordinances very carefully. US courts have ehard numerous challenges to police attempting to seize 3D printed guns. Even saving gun 3D print files to your computer can be deemed illegal ... followed by jail time.
For example, I have a full set of drawings for Sten mark 2 and a 3D printer, but have "never gotten around to" drawing 3D print files. Note: my Ender 3 printer is nowhere near capable of printing metal parts of high enough quality for guns. 3D printing gun parts requires printers costing many thousands ... hundreds of thousands of dollars ... more.

Don't worry about it. I'm not planning on making illegal firearms or anything because it's pretty much impossible for a civilian to own a firearms let alone making it in my country.
The reason i'm asking this is just to get some information on Small arms design as i'm really interested in the topic. I've designed many guns in a 3D Cad format but that's it because i'm still lacking so much in the technical aspects. Hopefully i can learn many things by joining more forums.
