Dear forumites,

am curious to know more about the BW-1 - especially the dimensions!
So far I know only the wingspan by 8.20 m and the engine type, a Continental A-70 165hp
Would like to plan a 1/4 scale model.

The BW-1 was built in 1931. Made only some flights before it crashed!

The BW-1 used the same wing section as the twin-engined Barkley Grow T8P-1 transport if that helps. The prime purpose of the BW-1 seems to have been proving Archibald Barkley's multi-V-spar wing design (and maybe to get Commander Grow on board?).

Thanks Apophenia!
