I was born too late for Matra but my father once heard one of these cars (and V-12) during the "Tour de France auto" in the 70's... and never forget it. It had a truly unique, terrific howl. Even more in Le Mans Hunaudières, the long, long, looooooooooong straight line... and it won there three times in a row: 1972, 1973, 1974.
