United Technology manufactured Titan III' 120-inch solids.
Thiockol and Lockheed tested 156-inch solids from 1964.
Flight global mention that, back in 1963,UTC tested 156-inch casings.
I know Astronautix mention of UA-156 3- and 4-segment SRMs, but that's not enough
My question is simple : did UTC ever fired a 156-inch SRM prototype for an upgraded Titan III (date would be 1964 - 1968) ?
Every information on 156-inch SRMs and their eventual application to a basic Titan-III core is welcome! (not the enlarged Titan IIIG)
